This course is tailored for the occasional traveller or those who to travel in low and medium risk contexts. It will increase understanding of how to assess, mitigate, and respond to security threats as well as critical first aid skills for places where medical services may not respond quickly. You will learn:

Risk Assessment (context assessment, situational awareness, threat and vulnerability)

Travel Security (preventative mitigation measures, personal well-being, managing incidents)

First Aid (assessing injury & illness, CPR, bleeds, shock, spinal injury, burns & shocks, choking, sprains, dislocations, stroke, managing an incident)
